Area 51 is the sixth mod made by Luke Strauman. An unfinished mod, it still featured 10 interesting levels that were based primarily on Blake Stone with a theme of the paranormal, aliens, UFO's and sporks. The storyline is fairly involved, including short briefings before each map..
Plenty of code changes were included as well, including animated sprites, Tesla coils and many new weapons.
Already announced (complete with title screen) in February 2002 it was not released until August 2003. This is to date the latest Strauman release.
