Planet Strike is a game based on the Wolfenstein 3D engine and a sequel to Blake Stone. It was made by JAM Productions and released by Apogee Software in October 1994, two weeks after id Software released DOOM II.
Planet Strike built upon its predecessor and had various improvements. It strayed even further from the basics of Wolfenstein 3D and had many new features. Having been released in the shadows of Doom 2 it was doomed just like the previous entry in the series.
It was the final game of JAM Productions before disbanding shortly after.
Legacy[]
Apogee Software released the source code on July 8, 2013. Aliens of Gold didn't see any source release and is considered lost.
