Brutal Damage is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Joshua Waight. It was released on January 1, 2005.

Description[]

The setting is inspired by Waight's native California. The storyline is more contemporary and modern, and real-life photos are among the new graphics. The full version features 20 levels, played on the first two episodes. Some original graphics remain, while other graphics are from DOOM and Tekkoudan.

The EXE features uncredited changes most likely made by Brian Lowe (such as new episode names, increased ammo/health and different ceiling colors).

Release history[]

Announced on June 29, 2004, a 10-level demo was released in that August, featuring 10 levels. The final version featured 20 levels and was released on New Year's Day 2005. This version replaced the 10-level version.

Another one of Waight's mods, Gothic Mayhem, was released that same day. That mod is essentially Brutal Damage but with a different set of graphics and a completely different storyline.
