Coldfusion! (sometimes stylized without its exclamation mark) is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Ian Summerfield. It was released on January 10, 2004.

Genesis[]

The mod was initially announced on July 28, 2003. Two sets of enemy pics were posted; some of these did not feature in the final version. Six weeks later, another set of pics were posted, which included most of the enemies found in the final version. Progress stalled over September and October, due to Summerfield needing help in terms of coding. Instead, attention was turned towards a sequel to Southern Hell.

In December 2003, new sets of pics were posted and the mod was back in progress. It was then released in January 2004 with 30 levels. Announced as being the 1st part, a full 60-level version was never made. The download includes the EXE, which is that of the standard registered Wolfenstein 3D. As such, it is a port-friendly set.

Description[]

The 30 levels in the mod are played in episodic flow, as no source code changes were made. Many graphics have been changed, and feature a slightly humorous, cartoon-like feel in places. The officer has been replaced by a small PacMan ghost, and the dog has been replaced by a brown pig.
