Enemy Around the Corner is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Poet. Initially released in September 2000 as a 1-level set, levels from the first Wolf-Extra set were later included, expanding it to containing 21 levels. The mod was released as such for its SDL release, which came out in November 2012.
The Enemy Around the Corner level is pretty large in size and demands thought as well as skill to be completed. The same can be said for the remaining, older Wolf-Extra levels, though these are all distinguished by their small, compact size and intense, claustrophobic gameplay. All levels are roughly the same size, yet quite different in overall outlook, though they all share one common denominator; difficulty.
As the original Wolf-Extra set remains unavailable, and has been for more than a decade, this is the only way to experience these levels in which Poet made his mark as one of the most original map makers who favored strategy and puzzle as much as design and feature-based gameplay.
