Escape from Cypress High School is a mod for registered Wolfenstein. It was made by Erik Selfridge and was finished in the summer of 1996.
It did not appear on the Wolfenstein 3D Dome until January 2005, as it was sent in by Colonel Bill.
No new levels are featured, but all graphics and sounds have been replaced. The mod takes place at an actual high school in the United States.
A controversial subject, the Read Me states:
ESC from CHS is all in good fun and its creator does not condone the shooting, killing, maiming, or mutilation of civil servants in any way. This game is simply a way of letting off steam.
It was finished three years before the Columbine massacre, though school shootings had happened before.
