2nd.zip (also known as On the Trail of Schabbs) is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Ken O'Brien. It was released on October 17, 1999.
Description[]
The set features 20 levels and a handful of new graphics. Some of these have been based on material from the Spear mission packs, though a lot of Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny material is recycled here as well.
One of the more notable features is the coding, which for 1999 was not at all common; the mod features seamless level flow, different ceiling colors and a brand new music order. The coding was made by BJ Rowan, who at this time was finishing phase one of Totengraeber.
Legacy[]
The EXE would be used in many John Bucksnort projects to come, with O'Brien's blessing. As the EXE appeared in dozens of mods, it received its very own SDL port, released on July 27, 2013, courtesy of Andy Nonymous.
