Super 3D Noah's Ark is a 1994 game that was based on the source code of Wolfenstein 3D. The company behind this idiosyncratic stroke of genius was Wisdom Tree.
Rather than being WWII-inspired, it instead takes on a nonviolent biblical theme, featuring Noah wandering about his ark, slinging out sleep-inducing food to ornery animals. Conspiracy theories around the game state that it was actually produced by id Software in order to bypass Nintendo's strict violence policies, although most of these theories do not consider the game as completely re-designed and only using the engine and code of Wolfenstein 3D, rather than a simple graphical hack.
Sprites and resources from the game have surfaced in a number of mods, and most recently AstroCreep's Noahpak: The Invasion took its influence to another level.
