This is the REAL Gorenstein 2. Gorenstein II: The Gore Spear is a mod for Spear of Destiny, made by AstroCreep. It was released on May 25, 1999.
Following in quick succession of Technostein SSD and Hodge Podge 3D/The Warp, the mod is also a mere graphics replacement, with the focus being on gore; much blood has been added to select graphics.
Other than that, no new maps were made, though it was stated upon released that levels would be done by December 1999.
