Journey into Evil is the thirteenth mod made by John Bucksnort. It was released on August 30, 2000. It was listed on the Wolfenstein 3D News site as being Part Three in the Wastelands series, though this is not evident on the title screen.
It was based on Spear of Destiny and features 7 levels. Level 5 takes you to the final level. For reasons unknown, the original Spear of Destiny level 6 was not removed from the GAMEMAPS file.
An SDL port was released on July 28, 2012.
