The Luftwaffe was a mod that was announced on August 24, 2002 as Spiritblade-inc's first project. Over the course of the following year, he would team up with Jacob Rodgers and Alex Brosseau as The Luftwaffe Team.

Though a handful of updates were posted, with the most recent being December 19, 2003 featuring a lot of new boss graphics, the project was re-cast as Operation: God Hand starting January 10, 2004.
