Nat_W3d is a map set for shareware Wolfenstein 3D. It was created by Benjamin and Nathaniel Rudiak-Gould. It was finished in August 1992, and is particularly notable considering its early release date. The set contains ten complex and large maps all made from scratch. It was originally released for shareware v1.0.

According to Andy Nonymous, the set was withdrawn by request from Apogee. No particular year was mentioned in which this took place, but it is likely that it was sometime in 1992, as Wolfenstein 3D was just gaining momentum, and Nat_W3d even preceding the release of Spear of Destiny.

These levels would later appear in Temporary Insanity.

On July 23, 2002, a Dome news post featured the above information and also contains an upgrade to shareware v1.4, courtesy of Andy Nonymous. This upgrade also featured slightly updated maps and a very extensive hint file documenting and providing help for the maps in considerable detail.
