Operation 88 was a mod that was announced by Fredrik Stjernholm on June 26, 2002 in the wake of the release of The Fear of Magic. The screenshot alluded to a hand-drawn/cartoon-like atmosphere - possibly completely in black and white - but the mod was never released, and updates from Stjernholm were virtually non-existent.
Briefly mentioned as coming soon on his website in the fall of 2002, nothing was otherwise heard of Operation 88.
