The Portal is a DOOM II scenario made by Laz Rojas. Though it only featured one level, it was a large one that found the protagonist in Egypt, with numerous new well-made graphics featured that would later be the centerpiece of e.g. Ian Skevos-Jones' Quest for the Amulet.
