Projekt: Vertilgung is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Zach Higgins.

Initially released as a 10-level demo on November 29, 2001 a final version came out on January 5, 2003. This was later revised, and the actual final version, also titled Phase II Final v1.4 was released on March 17, 2004.

It was stylized Projekt (German) in its final release, though previous releases list is as Project.

It features 20 levels played in seamless flow, and many new graphics and sounds. Level design is generally quite good, and many of the new textures and guards, including a unique officer and an SA guard, would be used in many mods to come.

Genesis

Initially announced on November 17, 2001 and featuring coding by James Ingham, many screenshots and different title screens were posted over the following months.

The project had its own website, which remained active through most of 2002.

On January 6, 2002 several screenshots were posted, and seamless level flow, God mode artifacts, breakable glass, new weapons and new tiles (including doors) were added.

On February 2, 2002 a series of screenshots was posted illustrating the breaking glass feature.

On May 5, 2002, Zach stated he only had one level to make before it could be released.

When it was eventually released in 2003 it was unfinished, and the final boss level, level 20 was later edited to make the mod somewhat able to be finished. Zach Higgins left the project in early 2003, leaving the chores of coding and release in the hands of James Ingham.

Several restarts were attempted, but the 20-level unfinished version is currently the only playable version.

The 10-level demo was later ported to SDL by Officer-Michael John.
