Latest revision as of 16:57, September 4, 2019

Rising evil is a mod for registered Wolfenstein made by Ryan de Haast. It was his first release.

The mod features 30 levels played in a seamless flow. Many new graphics and sounds are featured, and the coding was also quite impressive for its time, including a new weapon, more keys, different doors and different boxes of ammo.

Most maps are large in size, though some also suffer from mazes, empty hallways and lack of detail. It was still relatively successful upon release in 2002.

The source code was later released, giving way to a number of different mods.

It is still only available in DOS.
