Shankenstein is a mapset created for the registered version of Wolfenstein 3D. Released in the second half of 1993 by [[Atek]], it's a full 6-episode replacement offering a total of sixty new maps, although some of them still reuse significant elements of vanilla designs. As if often the case, floorcode 8C ends up significantly overused.

Shankenstein is a map set for registered Wolfenstein, made by Larry J. Shanker. Dating from April 1993, 60 new levels are featured though quite a share of them recycle elements from the original Wolfenstein 3D levels.

The map set was widely used in the early years of modding, with several people basing their mods using this patch of WL6 maps in lieu of the registered version of Wolfenstein 3D.

The map set was also featured in the Wolfmaster map pack as set K.

As is often the case, floorcode 8C ends up significantly overused.
