Simpson Mania was a mod that was announced by Ian Summerfield on November 18, 2003. A set of enemies were posted, including Chief Wiggum, Krusty the Clown, Groundskeeper Willie and Mr. Burns, all well-known characters from The Simpsons franchise.
Summerfield went for a Spear of Destiny/DOOM feel in addition to the cartoon-like premise of the mod. No further news were heard on the project.
