Spear of Dreams Part 3 is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Kyo Kusanagi. It was released in late July 2005 as a demo, with its most recent incarnation being a Hi-Res version that came out on January 17, 2006.
Description[]
The set was initially released as an 8-level demo in July 2005. A full version featuring 39 levels was released on August 4, 2005. A version that was otherwise deemed final had been released two days previously, but none of these were the actual final versions; on October 6, 2005 the true final version was released featuring a new status bar and additional weapons. This would replace all former versions.
The mod is heavily inspired by Rise of the Triad, and features a significant number of different weapons.
Bugs[]
The code is based on The Final Solution v3.0. Opening the Read This! will cause the EXE to crash as no HELPART file exists for the mod. This was rectified in the Hi-Res version of the mod, which removed this feature.
Credits[]
Many new graphics are featured, mainly culled from Projekt: Vertilgung, End of Destiny and TGOEL in addition to the Image World and various WSJ projects.
Some maps come from other projects, e.g. level 33 which featured as a secret level in Castle Totenkopf v1.2. Furthermore, level 13 came from Batman, and had been used by Kusanagi before.
Hi-Res version[]
A version featuring a brand new set of high resolution graphics was released on January 17, 2006.
