Spicestein 3D is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Merijn Heijnen. The mod alludes to the popular pop group The Spice Girls.
Though two maps were made (placed at E1L1 and E1L9, respectively) these files date to late 2001, by which time the hype around the group had waned and they had broken up.
The graphics date to 1999, and this is the most likely initial release date.
Some graphics (bosses and Pac-Man ghosts) were replaced by the faces of the five Spice Girls.
