Temporary Insanity is a map set for registered Wolfenstein, made by Nathaniel Rudiak-Gould. It was made in November 1993 and shared via BBS and figured in many early Wolfenstein mod listings, including the Wolfenstein 3D Dome.

The map set features 30 new levels, with many of those appearing in Episode 1 originating in Nat_W3d. The map design focuses on using the Wolfenstein engine's bugs to its advantage, making for an experimental and at times confusing gameplay, which even more than 25 years after its making is unparalleled.

Some of the trickery involved is lost on the SDL engine, though it is port-friendly, being only a map set. Playing the mod in its appropriate DOS format makes for gameplay true to form, as many of the bugs involved are not present in SDL.
