The Fear of Magic is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Fredrik Stjernholm. It was released on May 5, 2002.
Description[]
The mod features 9 levels and many new graphics. The atmosphere of the mod swaps Nazis and WWII for sorcerers and magical creatures as a medieval/magic theme carries the mod through a well detailed and extensive gameplay.
Inspiration was drawn from games outside Wolfenstein 3D, including Hexen and Heretic.

The mod originally used the EXE of 2nd.zip, which was originally compiled by BJ Rowan and put to use many times by Ken O'Brien and John Bucksnort. This was also naturally used as the base for the SDL port, which was released on July 9, 2013. The porting was done by Andy Nonymous, and for this purpose a mapping bug in level 6 was squashed, and the limit of static objects and enemies was raised slightly.
