The Lost Episodes is a mod for shareware Wolfenstein, made by Colonel Bill. It was released on June 27, 1998.
The namesake of this mod was later adapted by the Wolfenstein community as alluding to the Spear Mission Packs, released by Formgen in 1994. Bill is responsible for this name which has been used ever since to describe either the graphics or sounds from these two sets.
This mod, however, features only 10 levels and is based on the shareware version of Wolfenstein. Levels have been constructed using a Creator-like tool, making for a slightly repetitive gameplay. Some tweaks have nevertheless been instated, including different guard placement and the odd secret area.
The mod can be played in SDL as no coding changes were featured.
