The Lost World Part 3: Heretic Cult is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Kyo Kusanagi in cooperation with Mac Mendoza. It was released on July 22, 2006.
It features 40 levels, high resolutions graphics mainly inspired by DOOM. Mapping is mainly of good quality.
The mod was announced on June 29, 2006 after a couple of months without any activity from Kusanagi. A post made on that date referred to the first time in two years that new material was being made, but this was obviously a mistake. Either that, or the mod had originally been started in 2004 and then shelved.
It was released on July 22, 2006 with several bug fixes coming afterwards, with the final version being released on July 29, 2006.
