The Spear is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Penguindog55. It was released on June 6, 2011.
The mod features 30 new levels and a number of coding changes. Unlike the SDL flights of fancy of its time, simple hex editing was featured, including new floor and ceiling colors, new music and many graphical replacements mainly originating in Totengraeber, Spear Resurrection and John Bucksnort mods.
On February 2, 2014, a new version was released dubbed The Spear v3. This featured the addition of two extra keys and new music, with maps being slightly tweaked to conform to these changes.
