Coding was made by Dean Horton. This fixed the restrictions of 399 objects and 149 actors. New ceiling colors were added, as was viewing level names on the Get Psyched! screen.
Originally conceived as a map set in the wake of The Bitter End, W.O.L.F. continued to be in episodic form and only added changed ceiling colors and a toilet sprite as the only visual evidence for this not being an actual map set.
Episodes 5 and 6 were made notoriously fast. At one time, Thomas made four levels in one day.
The mod was released in December 2008 and was well received.
An SDL port was released on May 22, 2013.
