WLFJECNA is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Martin S4B. It was released on March 22, 1999.
Genesis[]
The set did not circulate for many years, and never made its way to the Wolfenstein 3D Dome or numerous different download sites. The author name is stated in a batch file as Martin Řehák, listed as Martin S4B in the overview maps. The mod came bundled with custom map definitions, MapEdit 4.1, a sound editor (WLFSND) and a graphics editor (WolfEdit) in addition to registered Wolfenstein v1.1, but as the only changes were to maps and VSWAP it is essentially a port-friendly set.
Description[]
Most likely meant to depict the eponymous Ječná gymnasium in Prague, Czech Republic, the mod features two levels each on Episodes 1 and 2. They all depict a school atmosphere, and the Czech language is prevalent on many wall decorations. Some new graphics were featured as well, including a garbage can, a burning oil drum and a soft drink bottle. The overview map list the maps as being, respectively, the ground floor, the first floor, the second floor and the third floor.
Obscurity[]
One of the reasons the mod (depicting a place of education) went under the radar was most likely because of the Columbine school shooting, which incidentally happened in April 1999, shortly after the mod's making.
