Wacky Wolfenstein is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Mitch & Dave. It was released on September 8, 2003.
Genesis[]
The mod was preserved by Colonel Bill and never made its way to the Wolfenstein 3D Dome. The mod was also located by Dean in 2013, and may have been shared in other ways. Nevertheless, Mitch & Dave had a dedicated website which is still active though it has not been updated for two decades.
Description[]
The mod features many new graphics in a mostly humorous vein, including cutesy smiley-face guards, blissed-out SS guards, flatulent officers with speech bubbles and more. 7 new levels, all very small, are featured; two levels in Episodes 1 and 2 each and 3 levels in Episode 3.
Availability[]
The EXE included dates from December 31, 1992, and is essentially v1.4 but with enabled Read This! and copyright notice. As such, using changed VGA files, the mod will not work with most other versions/sourceports. A similar problem befalls the similarly titled Wacky Stein 3D.
