Wolfenstein: Resurrection is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Wes Desjardins in collaboration with Alex Brosseau. It was released on April 19, 2003.
Description[]
19 levels are featured, played in seamless flow. Coding changes, implemented by Brosseau, include different enemy behavior, seamless level flow, changed floor- and ceiling colors, new music order, new sign-on screen, Read This!, end level object and the Spear of Destiny item added. The audiovisual atmosphere relies heavily on the Wolf Skevos-Jones mods that had been released up until that point; Castle Totenkopf v1.2, Project: Eisenritter and Operation: Heimzahlung. Material was also found in the Spear mission packs and Beyond Wolfenstein 2 SE. Level 19, the final escape level, was lifted from Return to Wolfenstein's E2M1. Some original Desjardins graphics are however also featured.
Bugs[]
The mod features changes to the AUDIOT file resulting in many digitized sounds being either switched around or playing at odd intervals. This does not appear to have been done on purpose. Furthermore, most levels have no secret areas resulting in a continuous 0 % at end level stats.
