The Macintosh version of Wolfenstein 3D was released in 1994. Three separate campaigns exist;

Though Wolfenstein 3D modding was mainly for the DOS/PC audience, with the vast majority of mods found on the Wolfenstein 3D Dome and most mods put out over the past 15 years, several mods exist for the MAC version. Some have been ported to ECWolf.

A lot of the graphics from the MAC version have been utilized in countless mods; one of the first to make use of the MAC version's more detailed wall textures was Totengraeber; numerous sounds were likewise lifted from the MAC version.

All three encounters were eventually reconstructed by Andy Nonymous in his Mac-enstein series.
