Wolfenstein Sextilogy is a mod for registered Wolfenstein, made by Executor. It was released on September 9, 2007.

Genesis[]

Parts one and two were released in September 2007. The first episode had originally appeared as Episode One Revisited in March 2006. The maps have however been edited for this set. Part two had not previously been released. Silence then befell the project for a while, until a series of screenshots were posted in August 2009 that seemingly depicted an SDL EXE featuring textured floors and ceilings.

In April 2011, the third installment (Wolfenstein Sextilogy 3) was released, and the two other episodes were souped up in a heavily coded EXE, this time taking advantage of both SDL as well as ECWolf though a DOS version was also released. The DOS version did not feature as many coding changes as the SDL/ECWolf ports.

Description[]

The 2007 2-episode release was coded using 4GW and features a redesigned menu, extra added music, sprites and walls, increased enemy- and static object limit and many other additions that enhance the gameplay even more. The premise of the mod is to retell the story of Wolfenstein 3D but using slicker graphics and sounds, compiled from various sets and resource packs by BJ Rowan, WSJ, AReyeP, Zach Higgins, The Josh, Ringman and Majik Monkee. Sounds were likewise taken from mods by these people, in addition to Mac Wolfenstein 3D and WolfenDOOM mods and games outside Wolfenstein 3D/Spear of Destiny.
